Core Styles:
- Quju (Wrapped Robe):The most iconic Hanfu of the Han Dynasty, featuring "layered wrapping and a left-over-right crossed collar." With a flared skirt, it flows gracefully when walking, combining ritual significance with practicality—popular among both nobles and commoners.
- Zhiju (Straight Robe):Simpler than Quju, with a vertical front placket that requires no wrapping, making it convenient for daily activities. It gradually became the mainstream casual wear of the Han Dynasty.
- Ruqun (Top-and-Skirt Set):Consists of a short top ("Ru") and a long skirt ("Qun"). The wide skirt, paired with a waist sash, highlights women’s elegance and softness, and was a common outfit for Han Dynasty women.
- Shenyi (Integral Robe):A one-piece garment combining the upper and lower parts, "covering the body deeply." It balances ritual formality with comfort and was an important style for court robes and formal attire in the Han Dynasty.
